APECOM's new direction intends to reposition and strengthen the sector of communication consultants

The General Assembly, which took place on the 25th of June, elected the association's new governing bodies for the next two years.

Maria Domingas Carvalhosa, representing Wisdom Consulting, will be the new chairman of the board and will be accompanied in her task by six vice-chairmen: Ricardo Salvo, for CV&A, José Franco, for Corpcom, Sofia Gaio, for F5C, Francisco Teixeira, for Hill +Knowlton Strategies, Maria João Soares, for JLM and Tiago Vidal, for LLYC.

In the next two years of its mandate, the new direction of APECOM intends, through an effort of unity among all its associates, to face the new challenges and demands that the changes that are already foreseen in our society, accelerated by this recent pandemic, have come put to consultants.

Among the assumed objectives, the new executive of APECOM proposes to reflect, redefine and reposition the communication sector and also act in such different and decisive matters as, among others, the necessary regulation of the professional activity of the representation of legitimate interests, digital communication or brand activation.

The presidencies of the General Meeting and of the Supervisory Board were, respectively, with Teresa Figueira, representing the Information Center and Salvador da Cunha, of Grupo Lift. These two bodies also include Daniel Vaz, from M Public Relations, António José Laranjeira, from Midlandcom, Mariana Vitorino, from Porter Novelli and Renato Póvoas, from Guess What.
